Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Overshadowed Theatrical Productions

This show was so special for many reasons.

Let's start with the fact that the show was exceuted so fantastically well. The cast was phenominally talented, from the amazing Jospeh all the way down to the children's choir. When the kids were brought on stage I thought "awe they're so cute" but then they began to sing and I was blown away by how beautiful they sounded. Next, I've seen Joseph a few times before, and it's just an amazing show FULL of amazing music. Literally FULL of music, there is no plain dialog in the show. Which keeps it moving so much so that when the lights came up for intermission, I couldn't believe it was that time already.

And lastly, it was personally special as one of the narrators was a long time friend from grade school and another friend from grade school and I drove down to see it together. We grabbed lunch before hand for the most perfect day of friends, fun and music.

"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" is a musical based on the biblical story of Joseph from the Book of Genesis, where Joseph is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and eventually rises to a position of power in Egypt through his ability to interpret dreams, all while wearing a colorful coat gifted by his father Jacob.
